Ice Cream Party for the class with the most memberships & the class with the most donations!

Rules for counting membership for Ice Cream Party winners: 
A: Membership  

1. A membership with one child, we credit the child's class with 1 vote.
2. A membership has more than one child, say 2 or 3: we credit each child's class with 1 vote. 
3. Multiple memberships with one child: we credit the kid's class with multiple votes accordingly. 
    eg. Both parents are members, then the kid's class will receive 2 votes.
4. Multiple memberships with more than one kid: in line with both rules 1 & 2, we credit each kid's class with multiple votes accordingly 

B: Donations

Following the same rules as membership, for a family who has more than one child, each child's class will be credited with 1 vote.

The winning class will be determined both by the number of donations and the dollar amount received. When the number of donations ties, the
class with the highest donation wins.

  • By Feb 11, 2023, our PTA has 145 registered members and $965 donation from 23 families. Thank you all for your warm support and generosity. 
  • The class winners for the Ice Cream Party are: Ms. Bucur’s class for membership and Ms. Lapostol’s class for donation.

Our LCES PTA membership drive has come to an end, but it’s never too late to join and support us!!!

Your memberships will not only justify PTA’s standing as an organization and finance more PTA events, but also demonstrate and enhance the strength and unity of our PTA and our school. Also becoming a PTA member, you have no extra obligation but a right to vote at PTA meetings.

Since 1912, the LCES PTA has strived to reach for the stars, and this year is no different!  The more money we raise, the more events and activities we can offer, at a minimal cost to families. Memberships remain only $10.00 each.  Welcome to join PTA anytime at Totem/ or make a donation.

Back again this year, donation rewards!
After over 2 years of absolutely no PTA fundraising, I don't know about you, but we really liked it.  We are hoping to get enough donations that
we will not need to host any fundraisers for the remainder of this year, all while still being able to offer the same amazing family events we always have, making it out of this world for everyone! To entice you to take part, we are offering some fantastic rewards! If you are able to make a donation, please consider this option.  Any amount is appreciated, but there is no obligation to do so.  

Our modest fundraising goal is only $3000 for the year!

Donation Tiers

$25.00 Donation:  Free Admission to all PTA events & your name mentioned on our website
$50.00 Donation:  Free admission & VIP line* to all PTA events, as well as your name mentioned on our website
$100.00 Donation: Free admission and VIP line to all PTA events, as well as your name mentioned on our website; all that and a bag of chips for your family for movie night too!

* VIP line lets you skip the long line to enter PTA events, and breeze right in!

Donating is easy!  Here are 2 options for you:

  1. combine it with your membership on Totem
  2. you can download this form, fill it out, and drop it off at the school, in the office or to your child's teacher. Please fill out the form completely, and clearly, and place it, along with your donation, in an envelope with LCES PTA written on it.
